New Publication by CULT MA Alumnus Adile Aslan

Cultural Studies MA alumnus Adile Aslan's article "The Role of the Intellectual in Contemporary Turkish Women's Narratives" has been published in CLCWEB-COMPARATIVE LITERATURE AND CULTURE (vol.14, issue no.1, article no.3, 2012), an ISI journal indexed by the Arts and Humanities Citation Index.

Adile Aslan received her MA in Cultural Studies in 2012 with her thesis titled "From the Regulator to the Wanna-be Dictator: Specters of the Father in Saatleri Ayarlama Enstitüsü and Kar." She was a participant in the 2011 session of The Institue for World Literature in Beijing, and an assistant coordinator at the 2012 session in Istanbul. She is currently applying to PhD programs in Comparative Literature.
