Our Philosophy
 

From its inception, the Cultural Studies Program at Sabancı University has been at once an intellectual endeavor and a medium of public involvement and engagement.   It brings together scholars who are committed to address the critical relations between culture, power, and politics through multi-disciplinary engagement, innovative research and diverse methodologies. It fosters an open intellectual atmosphere where students at all levels, academic staff, and international scholars engage in social and political debates in seminar rooms as well as public platforms outside the campus.
