Faculty Position in Visual Studies
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of Sabancı University invites applications from scholars in early or mid-career, holding a PhD in Media Studies, Visual Studies, Film Studies or a comparable field. Candidates should have a strong grounding in theories of visual culture, an interdisciplinary perspective on the aesthetics and cultural contexts of visual texts, and university level teaching experience. They must be able to teach general introductory courses on visual culture as well as more specialized upper level courses, possibly encompassing the evolving new media .
