The film, "Nobody's Business" by Alan Berliner will be viewed in FASS G043 today (CULT 361/561 Oral History) at 11:40
The film concerns the attempt by documentary filmmaker Berliner to make
his immigrant father talk about his past, despite the fact that his
immigrant father thinks it is best to forget the past. The film raises
important questions about memory, remembering and forgetting, and
constitutes an intriguing parallel with Turkish immigrants's
relationship to their past.
All are welcome to view the film.
